I’m Glad…

my boyfriend was smart enough to realize that when thousands of women are feening extra hard over something your giving out for free that its smart to grab one for your girlfriend… like the Tiffany & Co. necklaces they gave out after the Nike Women’s Half Marathon. He said he had no idea what Tiffany was but these women just ran 13.1 miles and before asking for water, taking a moment to relax, finding family for a congrats they came straight for the little blue boxes so he decided it must be important and took one. Obviously he’s a keeper, he knows how to use context clues very well!

Adventures around DC & Virginia

I had so much fun yesterday. I walked to Dupont Circle; Georgetown; Rosslyn, Virginia; Arlington, Virginia and back to my Howard with my boyfriend of almost 1 whole month. We went ate breakfast in Dupont Circle, window shopping in Georgetown, watched a crew race/match (whatever its called) as we walked across the bridge to Rosslyn, Virginia, we went to the Marine Corp Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery (I kinda thought that’d be a weird place to go on a date when my mom suggested it but apparently not because when he saw the sign for it on the trail he asked to go!). We got to see the changing of the guard at the Tomb of Unknown Soliders which he seemed to really enjoy because he’s in ROTC and had never seen it before. Then we walked back on the Mount Vernon Trail To Georgetown where we had lunch at Qdoba (neither of us had ever eaten there and it was so good!!!) and walked back to campus.

Later that night me, my boyfriend, and two of his friends were going to a party at Georgetown and while we were waiting for the bus the two friends were talking about how they liked us as a couple and they were so glad we were finally together. They also said how I was an upgrade from the last gf and my boyfriend agreed, he said I felt like an upgrade and that before he was settling and and he’s really happy now. It was like they didn’t realize I was still standing there the way they were just talking. Well that actually doesn’t sound fun… but my company made my day fun because they like to go on adventures and explore with me! :D

Apparently my dry sense of humor and his sarcastic sense of humor work well together…

I wish…

I knew what makes me happy…. other than shopping… cuz i cant really go shopping an 12:30am and online just isn’t the same.

And I dont wanna be so frustrated right now cuz i have a date tomorrow. I dont wanna be a crappy date especially since I’m suppose to be planning it :[
